Professional Services
I provide individual psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, as well as professional supervision. As a prolific writer and Joint-Editor-in-Chief of Psychoanalytic Dialogues: The International Journal of Relational Perspectives, I have mentored numerous writers, both first time authors and more experienced writers. I offer writing consultation and support with creative and writing blocks.
Education and Training
After receiving my B.A. from Brown University with Honors in Psychology, I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the City University of New York, where I was awarded the Joseph E. Barmack Memorial Prize for my Ph.D. Dissertation from the Department of Psychology, and the Bernard R. Ackerman Foundation Award for Scholarship in Psychology. I completed my Predoctoral Internship, where I was Chief Fellow, at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center, Harvard Medical School. Subsequently, I completed Psychoanalytic Training at the New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.
I have also sought training with Physicians for Human Rights and the NYU Postdoctoral Program’s Clinic for Asylum Seekers to do psychological evaluations with people who have experienced profound trauma and torture and are seeking asylum in the U.S.
